For those of you that do not know, we do have another member to our family. Our beautiful cat of 5 years. Her name is Deathstrike, because of her claws. But I call her Kitty(that is what she answers to). She is so pretty. It is funny how animals take on human traits after a while. Like how she will ONLY drink fresh water, and how she says mom when she wants something really bad! Not joking, it sounds just like mom. Or the fact that she will follow us around the house until we get her want she wants, and if we ignore her she will nudge us in the direction that she wants us to go. Or how about the way she gets louder and louder if we are not listening to her. It is as if we have another child here. We got Kitty when we lived in Washington. She was only a couple of weeks old, and had fallen off the patio of an apartment complex that I worked at. The owners would not come and get her, so I took her home, and it was love and first sight.

WHAT NEXT?
So I took Gavyn and Emmalee to the doctors today. While I was there, I noticed that Jaidyn's glands were really really swollen. So I had the doctor look at them. I mean why not. If there is one thing that my kids have learned it how to share. I mean they share everything. Toys, food, drinks, colds, flu's, and so on...... You get my drift. Come to find out that they all have the same virus, each in different stages though. Gavyn is at the end of it. Jaidyn is at the beginning. And Emmalee is right smack in the middle, with an added bonus of an ear infection.
I am so proud of my children for being good sharers, but now they are instructed to not share anything with each other for the mean time. I mean come on, we just spent the last three months of 2008 working through everyone being sick. Can we please have a little break in 2009?
Oh yeah, and to top it all off, I just got a call from the school that Logan twisted his ankle, and I need to keep an eye on him just in case he sprained it.
Just thought you might all want to know what we are up to.

Do We Ever Go Anywhere Else But Disneyland?
Christmas @ Disneyland
This year we decided to get Disneyland passes for the kids. Of course they thought it was the greatest thing ever. Since Andy and I already had passes, the kids have really been wanting to go to Disneyland, so it was the perfect gift for them. They were really surprised! It was really cold there, so Emmalee got a really warm beanie. It was so cute on her since her cheeks are so chubby.
Of course she crashed as the day wore on.
We had the perfect seat for the Christmas parade. It was right in front of the hat store. The parade was so cool too. But when Santa came out at the end, the floods came tumbling down. We decided to call it a day. We were soaked!
